Republic Day In My School Essay In English :- India became a republic on 26th January, 1950. It is a very important day in the history of India, because, we got our own constitution. And from that day onwards, the Government of India started to be conducted according to the Indian Constitution. Many eminent personalities helped in this important undertaking. Thus, this day is celebrated every year with utmost pride.
Every Indian school celebrates Republic Day. This day is also celebrated with great pomp in our school. So, we eagerly wait for this day. Planning begins a fortnight before the event. Students of most of the classes participate in the cultural programme. These events are put together by the teachers of the school.
The campus of my school is decorated for the Republic Day. Small tricolors, ribbons and balloons are used for this. Every student wears white uniform in the class. They seem incredibly intelligent. The morning assembly is unique on this day. On this occasion a famous person is invited as the chief guest. He hoists the national flag. Our national anthem is sung. We all are addressed by our principal sir. He clarified the importance of today’s day. Speaking about the day is also the chief guest.
NCC students of our school took out a beautiful procession. Children give lively cultural performances. It includes drama, music and traditional dance. Republic Day is celebrated at India Gate in New Delhi. The nation is addressed by the President. Our armed forces display their might to show their might. Various Indian states display vibrant tableaux.
